I have vivid memories of my younger self aspiring to become a teacher.

 

At the age of 18, while working as a clerk in a local video store, I shifted my focus towards the field of economics, expressing a keen interest in Business Administration. I pursued my studies at the University of Piraeus, specializing in Marketing. After getting married, I embarked on an exciting journey and, a year later, had the opportunity to pursue my studies abroad at Exeter University in England. It was there that I earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in International Management. In that same year, I also successfully completed the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) program, obtaining the prestigious Marketing Diploma.

Upon returning to my home country, I began working as a Brand Manager for renowned companies while simultaneously embracing the joys and challenges of motherhood with the arrival of my firstborn. Juggling my professional responsibilities and nurturing my family, I continuously sought to learn and grow in my new roles. Three years later, my family expanded with the arrival of a second son, bringing even more happiness into my life. Balancing the roles of a devoted wife, loving mother, and dedicated professional led me to the realm of Counseling. Recognizing the need to deepen my self-awareness, acknowledge my own needs, and establish personal boundaries, I embarked on a transformative journey of self-discovery. This journey spanned five years of psychotherapy within a therapeutic group, followed by an additional four years of couples therapy. These experiences have fueled my commitment to personal growth and development.

During this transformative period, I experienced a significant professional shift. I bid farewell to the field of Marketing and embarked on a venture of my own—a delightful business specializing in crafting exquisite cheesecakes. For two decades, this endeavor enriched my life with invaluable experiences, celebratory moments, exhilarating successes, as well as the occasional setbacks and cancellations. Eventually, this path served as a springboard for a new chapter in my career—the world of Counseling.

Having completed my studies in Counseling Psychology at the esteemed Mediterranean College, I made a personal vow to remain a lifelong learner driven by a deep-seated love for humanity. I am committed to acquiring knowledge that can positively impact the lives of those seeking my guidance. Through continuous supervision, I am able to uncover any blind spots, broaden my self-awareness, and enhance my counseling skills.

Currently, I am pursuing further studies at the Athenian Institute of Anthropos  (AKMA) in the field of Systemic Approach. Additionally, I have obtained certification as an NLP Master Practitioner through nlpgreece®, specializing in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP).
